Amazing Acappella is back for its fourth annual performance at the Duxbury Performing Arts Center on Saturday, February 9th at 7pm! The featured performers will be Overboard, who have been featured performers on American Idol and the CBS Morning News. Three college acappella groups will also perform including ensembles from Boston College, Wellesley College, and Berkley College of Music. Also performing will be Duxbury High School’s own PacMen.
Tickets in advance are $20 and may be purchased at the Studio and at Westwinds Bookstore, or online at http://www.ticketalternative.com/Venues/510.aspx . Please be sure to request "will call" if needed. Ticket on the night of the performance are $25 for adults and $10 special pricing for students.
All proceeds go to the Paul S. Fortini Foundation for the Performing Arts, Inc. Amazing Acappella is the only annual fundraiser for the organization whose mission is to fund those needs of the Music and Drama departments that are beyond the school budget. Previous gifts have included the replacement of a 40 year old piano in the choral rehearsal room, an Apple Macbook Pro computer for sound, lighting and special effects, and master classes taught by Boston area acting professionals.
